The Drama department takes part in every single stage performance at CAPA. Young students are trained to use lights and cameras and other special equipment to make the show spectacular.

Film and TV
- Film and TV is a course that teaches acting for the media.
Plays
- The Drama department gives us a little taste of their talent several times a year by performing musicals such as "Once Upon a Mattress," "The Wiz", and Shakespearean plays like "Julius Caesar."
Performances
- Even if it isn't an exclusive Drama performance, (Dance or Instrumental, for example) the department still makes it their business. Looking for ways to help out, the CAPA stage crew is trained to professionally put on the show with sound, lighting and video.
The drama department does not teach their classes in just any class room. The classes are held in either our new, advanced theater or one of three special "black boxes." CAPA also boasts a state of the art film studio and television technology center.
